Lead
A post in your groups that asks for what you offer.
A post that asks for what you offer
A lead is a post in one of your groups that asks for something a business profile offers. New and edited posts in a monitored group are read for each of the group's business profiles, and a post that asks becomes a lead in Leads, with the words that show the request and why it matched.
GroupLeads never posts, comments or sends messages for you. You reply on Facebook yourself, from the lead's link to the post.
Review
A lead marked Needs review waits for a person to decide. It's a lead keeps it; Not relevant dismisses it. For now, every new lead waits for review.
Who can see and work a lead
A lead is shown to the people its group is shared with. Members, admins and the owner among them can work it: change its status, assign it to one of them and give feedback. Viewers can read it. See Group.
Statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
new | Found, and not worked yet. |
contacted | Someone on the team replied to the person, on Facebook or elsewhere. |
dismissed | Not worth following up, with the reason why. |
archived | Set aside, out of the active list. |
A lead, and the words of the post it keeps, are deleted 90 days after it was found.
